Paola Corte

Born in Milan on January 2, 1978, she is a lawyer registered with the Milan Bar Association and is qualified to practice before the Superior Courts. She is a member of the Council of the European Food Law Association (EFLA). She is bilingual (Italian and English), and speaks French.

Attorney Paola Corte graduated with honors from the University of Milan and immediately began practicing law at Studio Legale Corte, a firm that deals exclusively with food law. Attorney Paola Corte advises on the production, distribution and serving of food and beverages and related products, such as pet food. In particular, it provides legal advice in connection with the development of new products, with reference to composition, production techniques, and the setting of related communication; verifies the compliance with law of labeling and advertising of food and pet food products. It also advises companies and trade associations on the implementation of the new regulations. Performs litigation defense work, both challenging administrative sanctions imposed by supervisory bodies on food business operators and defending defendants in criminal proceedings related to the production, marketing and serving of food and beverages, pet food and other products of wide and general consumption.

As a lecturer, she has taught several training courses aimed at food business operators on food labeling and other topical issues related to food law. She is regularly called upon to participate in food law conferences, both in Italy and abroad, as a speaker.
