Maria Carmela Pisu

In the 5th year of the course, she chooses “Reproduction of Domestic Animals” as the professionalizing module. She graduated with honors with thesis “Employment of different activation systems after ICSI in horse oocyte.” For one year, she remained as an attending graduate student at the Obstetrical Gynecological Clinic of the Sassari Faculty dealing mainly with companion animals. In 2006 she opened the Veterinary Reference Center in Turin. She focuses exclusively on clinical and pathology of Reproduction.

Speaker and instructor at Pet Reproduction Days, author of publications in Journals and at National and International Congresses. Editor of the Italian edition of the BSAWA Handbook Reproduction and Neonatology of the Dog and Cat and author of 2 chapters of the book “Handbook of Infectious Diseases of the Dog and Cat” ed EV. Author of a chapter in the book “Urological surgery of the dog and cat” EDRA ed. Reviewer for leading international journals.

Registered with SIRVAC since 2003, she became its president in 2011. She has been its past president since 2016.

Since 2010 member of EVSSAR.

In November 2016 she received his Diploma from the European College of Domestic Animal Reproduction (ECAR), with specialty in Companion Animals.
