Francesca Cozzi

She received a degree in Veterinary Medicine in 1991 from the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, University of Milan, with a thesis in clinical neurology. She obtained the title of Doctor of Research in Domestic Animal Medicine (PhD) in 1995 with a research project on canine muscular dystrophy, then continued her collaboration with the Institute of General Pathology and Clinical Medicine dealing with clinical neurology, following as co-author several dissertations and dealing with research, in collaboration with the “Carlo Besta” Institute in Milan. From 1995 to 1998 she held a residency program in veterinary neurology at the Veterinary College of University of Pennsylvania – Philadelphia. In 1997, he obtained the European specialist diploma in veterinary neurology. Speaker in courses and conferences and author of international and national publications.

Scientific translator. From 2000 to 2010 adjunct professor at the School of Specialty in Pets at the University of Milan and in the years 2011 and 2012 for the Advanced Course in Pet Ethology and Behavioral Medicine.

Treasurer for the European College of Veterinary Neurology in the years 2004-2007, since 2015 he has been a councilor in the Professional Order of Veterinary Physicians of the Province of Milan. She is currently the owner, in Milan, of the NVA Veterinary Neurological Clinic, where he performs clinical neurological referral of small animals.
